A devoted member of the 30,000 multicultural non-denominational mega-church since January 1999, ordained in 2008, and installed as an associate pastor in 2011, Dr. Valerie Crumpton oversees several ministries within the organization, including: The Potter’s House Ministerial Alliance, New Members Relations, Acts II Street Ministry, Military Veteran’s Ministry, Transformation Substance Abuse Ministry, and the Translation Ministry. She is also the Choir Director of The Potter’s House’s Bishop’s Choir. 

A pastor, leader, musician, psalmist, lecturer, educator, entrepreneur and consultant, Dr. Crumpton holds a Doctor of Ministry (Portland Seminary, George Fox University), a Master of Business Administration (Dallas Baptist University), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (University of Phoenix). She has served as a mentor pastor for Southern Methodist University (SMU) Perkins School of Theology. As former Dean of Women, instructor and curriculum advisor for the Potter’s House School of Ministry, she currently sits on the Council and is Director for the Doctor of Ministry Program, of Jakes Divinity School. Jakes Divinity School partners with Portland Seminary, George Fox University, to offer a fully accredited Doctoral degree program. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Portland Seminary. She is also a member of the Dallas Chapter of the African American Pastors Coalition and the Grand Prairie ISD Ministerial Alliance. 

Dr. Crumpton has served on mission excursions in Africa and South America. Further, she has given leadership lectures for the senate and legislative staff in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She was a session speaker for the 2018 TDJE International Pastors & Leadership Conference. As a professional writer, her literary works include two books entitled “Express Yourself”, and “The Church Has Left the Building”, and a co-authored book, “The Lectionary Story”.  As a Technical Writer, among other projects, Dr. Crumpton is the Creative Author and Content Editor for the TD Jakes weekly sermon 7-day study notes and the 5-7 Day TD Jakes Devotionals “Crushing” and “When Women Pray” on the U-Version Bible App. 

Dr. Valerie Crumpton strives to motivate and charismatically uplift all the lives she reaches. Her many years of experience continue to create unique opportunities with a positive impact in religious and professional sectors. She is married to Minister Charles Crumpton. Together, they have two daughters, one son and eight grandchildren.
