Dr. Austin is a native of Farrell, PA. His commitment to Christ grew under the leadership of his mentor the late Dr. Wilbur G. Hadden and he holds fast to the scripture that reads “Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivereth out of them all” – Psalms 34:19.

In March 2004, Dr. Austin was appointed as Senior Pastor Greater New Hope Church, Suffolk VA, where he served faithfully for over seven years. In 2014 he was installed as Pastor of the Morning Star Baptist Church Virginia Beach, Virginia. He currently serves as the CEO of the Olive Leave Foundation through which Dr. Austin facilitates Twenty First Century Church Ethics and Leadership awareness training for churches across the United States as well as globally. He seeks to inspire the Twenty First Century Christian Community into reaching God’s Design and Destiny for their lives.

He has served in United States Air Force and after ten years of honorable service, he was employed with Patton Wornom-Hatten-and Diamonstein Law Firm as an Information Technology Network Engineer. He is currently employed with the Department of Defense, Langley Air Force Base Virginia as the Air Force Cyber and Information Dominance Enterprise Services Portfolio Lead as well as Joint Base Langley Eustis Sexual Assault Prevention Response Instructor.

Dr. Austin is a Credentialed Professional Life Coach, and has earned his B.A. Degree from Hampton University, Master of Divinity from Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology Virginia Union University, Richmond Virginia, and Doctor of Ministry, Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia where has served as instructor in the Regent University Doctor of Ministry Leadership and Coaching program. He has recently joined the staff of T. D. Jakes School of Divinity,
Texas as an advisor in the DMin program.

Dr. Austin currently resides in Hampton, Virginia and is married to Reverend Valencia Austin. Through this sacred union they are blessed with four children – Eran, Hannah, Joshua and Trinity.
